“The World's Most Dangerous Man” · Openweight · 1993–2016
Macon, Georgia, then Napa, California: a boy left mostly to himself, who ran away at 10, was thrown out at 13 and slept in stolen cars before group homes took him in. At 14 he reached Bob Shamrock’s boys’ home in Susanville; Bob adopted him, and he took his name. He wrestled, played football after breaking his neck, then went to Japan to wrestle professionally. In September 1993, at 29, Ken Shamrock had his first professional MMA fight, in Urayasu, Japan. Start at fight one and watch his career, one fight at a time.
