Max Holloway

“Blessed” · Featherweight · 2010–2026

Honolulu, then Waiʻanae, on the west side of Oʻahu, a place known for fist fights: a boy of Native Hawaiian and Samoan descent whose parents struggled with drugs and whose father left when he was about 11. At 15 he started kickboxing at Team Ruthless and won his first amateur bout after three days of training. He finished at Waiʻanae High School in 2010, and that September, at 18, Max Holloway had his first professional MMA fight, in Honolulu. Start at fight one and watch his career, one fight at a time.
